The Age Categories for NDCA are as follows:

• Pre-Teen - 12 years old and younger
  • Pre-Teen A - below 6 years of age
  • Pre-Teen B - ages 6-7
  • Pre-Teen C - ages 8-9
  • Pre-Teen D - ages 10-12
• Junior - 13, 14 or 15 years old.
• Youth - 16, 17 or 18 years old
• Amateur or Adult
  • Adult A - 19 years old or older
  • Adult B - 35 years old or older
  • Senior - 50 years old or older

Note: - A couple's age classification eligibility is defined as the age of the older partner on the day of the competition for the Pre-Teen, Junior, Youth and Adult A classifications while it is defined as the age of the younger partner for Adult B and Senior classifications.
